Due to our lack of staff and overwhelming volume of orders, we can no longer offer in store shopping. All orders must be placed on our site and paid in advance, and you will receive notification when they are ready to be picked up.
Orders to pick up in Ottawa will be at the bar and can be picked up any time once you are notified.
For Montreal orders, you must call ahead on 514-809-1334 to confirm open status, as Rob is often out of the shop, to avoid taking a trip for nothing.
We cannot accept orders, or alterations to orders, through text, phone, Facebook, MAACA, or any other platform as it is impossible to keep track of, resulting in mistakes, and we simply do not have the time to filter through all the various sources before completing each order.
The only option to alter an order is via email at email@example.com, and if you wish to add more items, simply place another order and they will be packaged together for you.
As we do not and will not have a point of sale system at either locale, it forces us to process the order manually through the site, which is set up for ease of use for customers, and cash sales become difficult to manage and do not update our inventory. With literally thousands of parts listed on our site, many of them featuring multiple variations, it becomes a monumental task to keep up to date, and is unmanageable with all our other obligations to our various clients.
This applies to everyone and there can be no exceptions.
We thank everyone for the incredible amount of support, and want to keep offering the wide variety of in stock products here in Canada, available to all, but it is a loss leader for us and we need to focus on our core businesses of Game Sales, Repairs, and the operation of our Arcades, which is what keeps the lights on!
In addition, we will no longer be offering board repair services for games we have not sold or serviced, as the demand exceeds our ability complete in a timely manner.
These two areas have become a great source of stress for Rob & myself, and take up an inordinate amount of time for the small amount of income they represent, as our margins on parts can be as low as 10%, as we do our best to provide affordable and readily available parts for all eras and manufacturers.
We are not complaining, being too busy is not something to complain about, but this is the only way we can continue to offer this service at the prices we are. We appreciate everyone’s understanding, and once again thank everyone for the support.
